Start-Up Workshops

A story about who we are, what we do, and why we care. This trailer features footage from our inaugural workshop (May 31-June 2, 2012) that brought together 21 entrepreneurs to Los Angeles to accelerate their green and cleantech businesses. This 3-day intensive workshop provided each entrepreneur with small group learning, one-on-one coaching and mentoring, networking fun and the opportunity to pitch their businesses in front of a panel of judges. Our top-notch faculty included David Allen, Paul Hawken, Kirsten Tobey, Andrew Chung, and Michael Kadish just to name a few. You can learn more about our future workshops through our website, Facebook, and Twitter. www.GreenBusinessBaseCamp.com

GBBC has been running workshops for start-ups since 2012. We have thoughtfully created a custom curriculum that will provide you with the tools, knowledge and network necessary for success. In addition to your peers, you’ll be surrounded by seasoned entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors specializing in the sector.

There is nowhere else you can go to find this group of people all in one place for four days of concentrated learning, work and play. Our invitation-only experience is an intensive retreat blending entrepreneurial skill-building, industry-specific tools and knowledge, strategic networking, expert coaching, and access to the smartest and most successful people in the business.

Most early-stage entrepreneurs will fail in the first three years of trying to launch their business. GBBC will help you avoid the pitfalls that catch so many entrepreneurs off-guard and lead to wasted time, energy, and money.

Our ongoing support to Green Business BASE CAMP workshop alumni includes a content-rich community online and in real life, featuring open access to industry intelligence, knowledge, tools and networking. GBBC helps connect you to investors and financing, service providers, consultants, employees and customers, all to help you get your initiative off the ground while keeping sustainability at the fore.
